Sunday went out with Mert and took the ferry from Anadoluhisari over to Emirgan
Then walked under the Fatih Sultan Ahmet bridge and along to Bebek for a beer in the park
And on Sunday night Mert put on a show.........................................................................

Warsaw, Poland - Saturday 20th July 2019
Several people recommended the Warsaw Rising Museum to me and I went there this morning. It is the story of two months of Warsaw resistance to the Nazi occupation and although I got there early it was already rammed with Polish visitors
I walked there from the apartment block that has the small studio flat that I rented for the two nights that I was back in Warsaw. In the courtyard of my apartment block was a remnant of the ghetto wall.

Friday night, Thomasz, who knows Warsaw well, hosted an evening out starting at this night market

Warsaw rush hour on a Friday night and there doesn't seem to be much rushing.................
The next morning I met some of my new volunteer colleagues for a walking tour of the old town.
The motorists in Warsaw are courteous although when I spoke to others about it they disagreed.

I was able to spend some time with my brother Mike and my father today, and we went out for coffee at the Saracens Head in Kings Norton and a good time was had by all....................................................

Cycled and took the train from Tipton to Kings Norton for tennis then a spot of lunch with the boys.
Then went to Tony's house in West Heath for a shower and an afternoon nap and woke up to the bees.
