China2 - Day 9
It is very hot and humid here and saps my energy somewhat so good preparation for Cambodia! The day starts very early. YY's mum gets up with the sun and at about 3.30am she is off out for some exercise. This morning the square outside started to get busy not much later. There was a bit of a festival that went on all morning starting at around 0700 when things were already crowded out there

Now that the decision has been made to look for work in Cambodia, I have started to dash off some emails and make some applications and try to do some short self-introductions. Would you employ this man?...….

Russia - Day 5 - Kazan
Is this the New Forest or is it some woods somewhere between Volgograd and Kazan?
Iran v Spain
Arrived in Kazan and managed to get everything to the apartment in one piece. Two heavy suitcases and three carry-on bags is starting to feel a bit over the top for one week in Russia but we are going straight back to China from here.

Left the heat and dust of Volgograd this afternoon on a 24 hour train trip to Kazan which is East of Moscow and North-East of Volgograd.

Russia - Day 2 - Moscow
Fabulous day out today. Walked for miles through the streets of Moscow on a beautiful summer day and topped it off with Mexico beating Germany in their first game at the finals wooo hooo !!!!!!!!!!!

Very stressful morning trying to get everything ready for the off the next day. Moscow here we come woooooo hooooo !!!!!!!

Saturday night / Sunday morning I caught this old vid of Ozzy Osbourne with this crazy look in his eyes. Kind of spooky as he was headlining later on in the day and Ruth and I got to listen to a bit of it

Spent the day at Download with Ruth and YingYing. Not my genre but I have to say that I thought Parkway Drive were amazing. Great energy in the performance and great rapport with the audience. Got caught up in a mosh completely just by being there at the time and forgot to warn YingYing about moshing and she thought it was a fight!
