Overnight sleeper left Beijing Central at 2300 and I arrived back in Jinzhou at 0614 - perfect

Found out the on Monday lots of things are closed in Beijing so went for a mooch to the Central Conservatory of Music

Took the kids shopping, meant to be an American theme. Started at LingHe school
Then marched off to the underground shopping mall just round the corner from LingHe School
Then there was a race in pairs to find detergent, a can, toilet paper, yoghurt, and some other things

Had a little virusette yesterday - hot and cold at night - managed to struggle manfully to work this morning
In the afternoon took pills and watched TV. Big day tomorrow, teaching in the morning and shopping activity for StarSplendor in the afternoon. Keen not to miss joining in

Long morning celebrating Mother's Day at the local equestrian centre, but first we had to get the gang there

China - Day 100
Day 100 came with a blast of wind that ripped the trees out of the pavement just outside the compound. Torrential rain and heavy gusts of wind all day - it was an (English- style) April showers cold day - hopefully the weather system has cleared out and tomorrow (a school day) will bring sunny spells
